Welcome to Blastr! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Blastr soundboard desktop application available on Steam and our associated Chrome extension (collectively, the "Services"). By downloading, installing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Description of Services
2.1 Desktop Application
Blastr is a paid soundboard application available through the Steam platform that allows users to:
Play and manage sound effects and audio clips
Create custom soundboards
Use audio in various applications and games
2.2 Chrome Extension
Our Chrome extension connects to the Blastr desktop application to:
Identify connected users
Synchronize user data and preferences
Enhance functionality between web and desktop environments
3. Account Registration and Authentication
3.1 Account Creation
To use Blastr, you must create an account through one of the following methods:
Steam authentication (primary method)
Alternative authentication methods (where email is required)
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Ensuring the accuracy of your account information
3.3 Account Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use our Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Services.
4. Payment and Purchases
4.1 Paid Service
Blastr is a paid application available through Steam. By purchasing Blastr, you agree to Steam's payment terms and refund policies in addition to these Terms.
4.2 No Refunds
Except as required by applicable law or Steam's refund policy, all purchases are final and non-refundable.
4.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use Blastr for personal and non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.
5.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Upload, share, or play copyrighted audio content without proper authorization
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm others
Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Use automated scripts, bots, or other automated means to access the Services
Share your account credentials with others
5.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any audio content you upload, create, or use with Blastr. You must ensure you have the right to use such content and that it complies with applicable laws and these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Rights
Blastr, including its software, design, features, and functionality, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Your Rights
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Blastr for personal purposes.
6.3 User Content
You retain ownership of any original audio content you create. By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Services.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Third-Party Services
8.1 Steam Integration
Blastr integrates with Steam's platform. Your use of Steam is subject to Steam's Subscriber Agreement and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Steam's services or policies.
8.2 Chrome Extension
Our Chrome extension operates within Google Chrome. Google's terms of service and privacy policy apply to Chrome's functionality.
9. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

We reserve the right to:
Modify, update, or discontinue features of the Services
Change these Terms (with appropriate notice)
Suspend or terminate the Services with reasonable notice

12. Termination
12.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the Services at any time. Termination does not entitle you to a refund.

Fail to pay applicable fees
For any other reason with reasonable notice
